Shannon Forsell: By Request Set for 2013 Cabaret Fundraiser Presented by The National Bank of Indianapolis on November 2

As a fundraiser for The Cabaret, Shannon Forsell, veteran cabaret performer and The Cabaret's Executive Director, will perform a special show created exclusively for the evening's audience. Prior to the show, audience members will have the chance to bid for the songs they would like to hear Shannon sing. Songs with the highest bids will be used to create a unique one-night-only show just for you!

Shannon Forsell is proud to serve as Executive and Artistic Director for The Cabaret at The Columbia Club. No stranger to cabaret, Forsell has performed her own acclaimed solo cabaret show in New York City, and performs regularly at numerous venues and events.
Shannon Forsell is proud to serve as Executive and Artistic Director for The Cabaret at The Columbia Club. No stranger to cabaret, Forsell has performed her own acclaimed solo cabaret show in New York City, and performs regularly at numerous venues and events.
A native of Indiana, Forsell is a former Miss Indianapolis and a graduate of DePauw University. Forsell has performed in numerous regional musical theater venues, but is most know locally for her work at the American Cabaret Theatre, where she performed as leading lady in nearly every show for decade. Some of her favorite roles included Eva Peron in Evita and Sally Bowles in Cabaret.
In addition to live performance, Forsell has recorded a dozen nationally released compact discs, featuring jazz standards, Broadway, torch songs, and popular music for Hal Leonard Publishing Company. Forsell has three solo recordings entitledSimply Standards, The Nearness of You: The Music of Hoagy Carmichael, released through LML Music, and her newest recording Songs I've Never Sung on Broadway.
