The Phoenix Theatre has been participating in Circle City IN Pride since its beginning 25 years ago. "We have always had some type of visibility at Circle City IN Pride and have felt that the mission of the Pride Festival fits in very well with our mission as a contemporary professional theatre," says Phoenix Theatre Producing Director Bryan Fonseca. "As an arts organization, we have had a booth at the festival, entered a float into the parade, and/or volunteered our support for each IN Pride."

"This year we are ramping up our participation as part of our celebration of our 30th Anniversary. Our Marketing and Media Director Lori Raffel has designed a 30th Anniversary float and we are having it built by Expodesign this year," continued Fonseca. The theatre has invited any and all past and present artists and staff to walk in the parade alongside the float and they are hoping to have close to 30 people marching alongside the giant phoenix bird.

The Phoenix Theatre is participating in the following events in conjunction with the Circle City IN Pride:

Saturday, June 8, 2013 - Cadillac Barbie Pride Parde - step-off at Mass. Ave. and College at 10:00 am

Saturday, June 8, 2013 - Circle City IN Pride Festival - American Legion Hall - Gates open at 11:00 am - Booth #81
