Lincoln Amphitheatre's "Classic Family Films Series" will continue with Christmas-themed movies starting Friday.
The 2011 "Classic Family Film Series" Schedule:· Friday, July 1, 8 p.m. CDT, "How The Grinch Stole Christmas."
· Saturday, July 2, 8 p.m. CDT, "A Christmas Story."
· Friday, July 8, 8 p.m. CDT, "National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation."
· Saturday, July 9, 8 p.m. CDT, Christmas in July: "Elf."
All movies begin at 8 p.m. CDT and will be projected onto a 40 x 30 foot screen. Guests may not bring in food or drinks to the amphitheatre. A full-service concessions stand will be provided for Guests to purchase items.
A $5 in-state and a $7 out-of-state per car gate fee apply to enter Lincoln State Park. Admission to the "Classic Family Film Series" is Free, but monetary donations are accepted.
Lincoln Amphitheatre's 2011 production season is complete with "The Wizard of Oz" and "Our American Cousin." "The Wizard of Oz" will take the stage July 21 - August 7, Thursday to Saturday evenings with a Sunday matinee. "Our American Cousin" will run August 19 - August 27, Friday and Saturday evenings with a Sunday matinee. The 2011 "Lincoln's Legacy Lives" fundraising campaign is underway to support the expansion of family-friendly and affordable events at Lincoln Amphitheatre.
