Zane Dalal Conducts Symphony Orchestra of India's Season Finale, 2/19

The Symphony Orchestra of India is back... this time with its Eighth Celebrity Concert Season, presenting a ‘romantic' repertoire this February.

The season finale adds two more great romantic works to the list. Mendelssohn's much loved Italian Symphony, No. 4 and Dvo?ák's overtly, unashamedly tuneful, yet masterly Symphony No. 8, in G major. The concert opens with Rossini's dazzling Overture to The Thieving Magpie. Our Resident Conductor, Zane Dalal, returns to the concert podium. This concert - indeed this season - will be an uplifting one. This is a thoroughly romantic season with evocative and emotional beauty from start to finish.

On Friday, February 19 at 7.00 pm at the Jamshed Bhabha Theatre Rossini: Overture to La Gazza Ladra - The Thieving Magpie, Mendelssohn: Symphony No.4 Italian, and Dvo?ák: Symphony No.8 in G major will be conducted by Zane Dalal.

Tickets purchased by Telephone can be collected from the Box Office during opening hours. Please note that you will be asked to show the credit card used for booking when you collect your tickets.
