Guitarmonk School Launches Indian Genres Raga and Bollywood Courses

The Guitarmonk Guitar school India pioneered the first every certified courses on Ragas on Guitar and Bollywood.

Kapil Srivastava, founder guitarmonk launched its Raga and Bollywood genres at the event in its Gurgaon branch. They introduced the raga course via a raga performance on guitar accompanied by Ghatam and followed by a Bollywood song performance. Kapil explained the technical aspect and purpose of the raga genres on guitar.

The objectives of these courses are to provide a platform for musicians to expand their musical knowledge and delve into eastern music perspective and understanding.

Kapil Srivastava started the foundation of guitarmonk to offer Indian music on Guitar to global guitar community. Kapil is now running guitarmonk in 14 territories in Delhi and NCR and bringing the first residential guitar school at Dehradun (near Jollygrant Airport) in India.

Ragas on Guitar course is already learnt by students in more than 10 countries.
