In the recent past, some of the most riveting social issues, trends and news have been forming the subject matter of plays coming from Jeff Goldberg Studio.

The latest in the series is an upcoming play titled Six, which is a story about IPL, or Indian Premier League players. Considering that the love for cricket is second only to religion in India, there is bound to be interest in a stage play that incorporates the game.

But there is more than one point of interest for the play. Six written and directed by Jeff Goldberg is adapted from L. B. Hamiltons play 'A Midnight Clear'

Now bringing back the theme of cricket in the story, what may be interesting for viewers is also the fact that the story intertwines also a tale of love and longing.

The story follows a meeting between two former lovers. While one of them is a former IPL cricket star, the other one is the wealthy owner of an IPL team. The two have not seen each other in a year but are put together once again by circumstances after one is brutally attacked. During an eventful evening, they rediscover their profound love for one another and also make the heartbreaking discovery on why they tragically can never be together.

Actors who are part of the play are Namit Khanna, Gurfateh Pirzada and Natasha. Chalk it in your calendar if you are a cricket fan. And if not you can still come around for a story of love and longing.
