Murney, Jenkins, Panaro & Evan join Houston Symphony Sept 3-5

The Houston Symphony has announced additional vocalists for its upcoming Broadway Rocks! series, accompanied by the Gay Men's Chorus of Houston, on September 3, 4, and 5.

Previously announced Julia Murney (Wicked, Lennon) will be joined by Capathia Jenkins (Caroline, or Change), Hugh Panaro (Phantom of the Opera), and Robert Evan (Phantom of the Opera).

Backed by the Houston Symphony and conducted by Michael Krajewski and Gay Men's Chorus, the vocalists will perform selections from such Broadway classics as Wicked, Mamma Mia!, The Lion King, RENT, and more!

Tickets ($25-$106) are on sale now and can be purchased by visiting the Jones Hall box office, calling (713) 224-7575, or online at HoustonSymphony.org.

The Houston Symphony will add to its Broadway reperatoire April 21-23 when it is joined by Ashley Brown (Mary Poppins) for a revue of Rodgers and Hammerstein.  More information will be released soon!
