HFAC to Host Golf Tournament to Support Actors Academy, 10/15

By:

Enjoy a day on the course and help the Houston Family Arts Center. The Houston Family Arts Center will be hosting a golf tournament to raise money for their award-winning Actors Academy programs, a new sign, and operational support. The tournament will take place Thursday, October 15, 2015 at the Longwood Golf Course, with a fajita dinner to follow. Check-in is at 12:00 PM with the Four-Person Scramble/Shotgun starting at 1:30 PM.

"This is our fourth year to host this event, which historically brings in $7,000-$10,000 for the theatre," says President of the Board, Julie Montgomery. "These funds go to the operational support and upkeep of our theatre on Grant Road. This is important because most grant sources for us are not for the purposes of keeping on the lights and the air conditioning. We are so thankful for the continued support of so many."
