Czech Center Museum Postpones Fall Gala Due to Harvey

Due to Hurricane Harvey, the Czech Center Museum Gala will be postponed, with the date not yet finalized.

The museum released a statement today that reads:

"Dear Friends and Members,

"We would like to inform you that the Annual Gala of the Czech Center Museum Houston will be postponed again.

"We announced on Friday, August 25, that we wished to move the date for September 9th, however, none of us had known that Harvey would become such a severe storm and affect so many people.

"Due to the large amount of Harvey victims, we decided to celebrate on another date.

"Our Annual Gala is an event of dances, music in a festive ambient. Under the current conditions, we cannot celebrate and we will inform you about when the Gala will finally take place.

"We apologize for the changes & wish everybody all the best."
