HK Phil Principal Guest Conductor Long Yu leads the orchestra in a programme interweaving the soundscapes of Joe Hisaishi and Brahms. Berlin Philharmonic's First Principal Viola Diyang Mei joins as soloist, performing Hisaishi's Viola Saga alongside Symphonic Variation excerpts from Howl's Moving Castle. The evening culminates with Brahms's Symphony no. 4 in E minor.
