Gold Medallist Eric Lu makes his HK Phil debut performing Chopin's Piano Concerto no. 1, conducted by Resident Conductor Lio Kuokman. The program opens with the world premiere of Waltz of the Rolling Giants by Yao Chen, commissioned by the HK Phil for its 2026/27 international tours. The concert closes with Stravinsky's The Firebird Suite (1919 version).
