BERMUDA AVENUE TRIANGLE to Open 10/11 in Kihei

ProArts is proud to present "Bermuda Avenue Triangle" - the hilarious comedy written by Renée Taylor and Joseph Bologna - as the first show of their Fall 2013 season.

Two widows are set up in an upscale Las Vegas retirement condo by their career-oriented daughters. Trapped by years of unhappiness, Fanny weeps and Tess does nothing but complain. But that all changes when these two ladies cross paths with the charming scoundrel, Johnny Paolucci, who rocks both their worlds. Fanny and Tess undergo a grand metamorphosis from being two, unhappy, complaining biddies into a pair of glamorous golden girls. The morale of the story: "There may be snow on the roof, but there's still fire in the furnace."

"Bermuda Avenue Triangle" features the best of Maui talent including Barbara Sedano, Sharyn Stone, Angela Thompson, Sharleen Lagattuta, Scott Newman and Gary Shin-Leavitt.

The show is directed by Kristi Scott, with costumes designed by Sarah Loney, scenery created by Caro Walker and lighting provided by Bonnie Prucha. ProArts productions are produced by Jonathan Lehman.

Opening night is October 11 and the show runs until October 27.

It plays Thursday, Friday and Saturday evenings at 7:30 pm and Sundays at 3:00 pm (no show on 10/13). ProArts offers reserved seats at $22.00. Kama'?ina nights, with discounts for Hawaii residents, are scheduled for Saturday, October 12, and Thursdays, October 17 and 24.
