IULIA (she/her). Any ethnicity. Of marrying age by contemporary standards. A novice, a seeker. Sings well, acapella group singing, with a good, natural voice.
EPHEMERA (she/her). An elder matriarch, in charge of the nunnery, a hard-ass. Sings poorly.
PERPETUA (she/her). Any ethnicity. Middle-aged by contemporary standards. A nun and a true believer. Sings well, acapella group singing, with a good, natural voice.
SERAPHINA (she/her). Any ethnicity. Of marrying age by contemporary standards. A nun. An ingenue with sharp edges. Sings well, acapella group singing, with a good, natural voice.
CARINA (she/her). Any ethnicity. Of marrying age by contemporary standards. A nun. A patient realist. Sings well, acapella group singing, with a good, natural voice.
LADY MONICA (she/her). Any ethnicity. Middle-aged by contemporary standards. A glamorous manager.
CARDINAL ANTONIO (he/him). Any ethnicity. An elder cleric, a company man who wants very badly to be Pope.
