Prepare 32 bars of a musical selection. Bring sheet music in correct key; accompanist provided but may not transpose.
Bring picture and resume, stapled together.
Performers must be at least 18 years of age.
Disney Creative Entertainment is seeking male and female vocalists of all ethnicities for Totally Tomorrowland Christmas; Finding Nemo, the Musical; and Festival of the Lion King, all performed live at the Walt Disney World Resort near Orlando, FL.
FINDING NEMO, THE MUSICAL:
Captures the heart, humor, characters and story from the Disney•Pixar animated film Finding Nemo and adapts them into a mesmerizing 30-minute Broadway-style musical stage show.
Seeking:
Marlin:
Mid 30s - 40s. Over-protective yet very loving father. Huge heart, great comedic talent. Scared of virtually everything. Baritone, able to handle musical ‘patter’ and flying at heights. Must weigh less than 183 lbs.
Dory:
30s. A forgetful, yet very optimistic lady fish and Marlin’s companion during this journey. Extremely quirky and an expert with comedic material. Character singer, comfortable flying at heights. Must weigh less than 183 lbs.
Nemo:
Female, late teens – early 20s. Adorable, endlessly curious, spirited, childlike and fearless, yet at the same time naïve and vulnerable. Bright and youthful mix or belt.
FESTIVAL OF THE LION KING:
An African-inspired celebration of the music from the animated feature film. Performed in a 1500 seat theatre in the round, this large scale, high energy production features singers, dancers, acrobatic tumblers and specialty performers.
Kiume:
The Leader. Male strong and powerful, resonant baritone/bass.
Zawadi:
The Gift. Sassy female gospel mezzo-soprano with high belt.
Nakawa:
The Prince. Good looking male pop/R&B second tenor.
Kibibi:
The Princess. Female pop/gospel second soprano with high belt to E.
TOTALLY TOMORROWLAND CHRISTMAS:
This high energy, interactive musical revue features “songs of the season” in the distinctive styles of today’s hottest Radio Disney hits!
Haley Comet:
Female pop vocalist, with good movement skills. Youthful, hip, high energy role requiring good comedic timing.
