Prepare 32 bars of a musical selection and provide music, in the correct key, for the accompanist. Prerecorded music or a cappella auditions are not allowed.

Bring a current non-returnable picture and resume.

Applicants must be at least 18 years of age.

Disney Parks Talent Casting is seeking male and female principal vocalists for the Hoop Dee Doo Musical Revue and Voyage of The Little Mermaid performing live at the Walt Disney World® Resort near Orlando, FL.

THE HOOP DEE DOO MUSICAL REVUE :

This is a “wild west” musical adventure as a troupe of traveling players barnstorms into Disney’s Fort Wilderness with silly skits, fancy footwork, and heart-warming song.

All candidates must portray “youthful and energetic”, and be able to portray characters aged 30s and younger.

Jim Handy:

5’11” above, leader of the troupe; a leading man type; handsome, outgoing, friendly, vocal soloist-heroic bass/baritone. Singer who moves well.

Johnny Ringo:

5’10” and above, handsome, dapper; the song and dance man; a true gentleman. Classic air of sophistication. Dance ability required.

Six Bits:

A “punster”, the target of many jokes; his brand of humor is often slapstick. Character actor/comedian, who moves well.

Flora Long:

Beautiful leading lady; sweet and petite; vocal soloist-soprano. Singer who moves well.

Claire DeLune:

Johnny's girl; she's adorable, lovable and flirtatious, full of life and best known for her outrageous “giggle.” Dance ability required.

Dolly Drew:

The strong woman and “Annie Oakley” type. Her mannerisms and style of dress are less than demure. Character actor/comedienne who moves well.

Principal female, lyrical pop soprano with belt to C. Youthful, petite, 5’1”-5’4". Typecast.
