BREAKDOWN
Trevor: The Musical is about a charming 13-year-old force of nature with a vivid imagination. As he deals with becoming a teenager, Trevor struggles to navigate his own identity and determine how he fits in a challenging world.
The Trevor Project, which was created as a result of the Trevor film, is the nation’s only accredited crisis intervention and suicide prevention organization focused on saving LGBTQ lives.

SEEKING ALL ETHNICITIES FOR THE FOLLOWING:
JACK 18-early 20s A young candy striper at the local hospital, JACK is a kindred spirit to TREVOR. Empathetic, encouraging and intelligent, it is obvious to us that JACK views his volunteer position as a vocation, not a chore. Tenor: A above middle C (ENSEMBLE)
MOM/MRS. KERR & others (30s) Trevor’s MOM. We see her through TREVOR’s eyes; a sweet, well-meaning but somewhat impotent presence on the periphery of TREVOR’s world. Mrs. Kerr. Trevor’s English Teacher. MRS. KERR is a young teacher who empathizes with Trevor and tries to connect with him. Soprano: G below middle C to second Ab above middle C (ENSEMBLE)
DAD/FATHER JOE & others (30s) Trevor’s Dad. Similar to TREVOR’s mother in TREVOR’s eyes, though somewhat more hard-edged and foreign.
Father Joe. A priest at the local Catholic Church who Trevor’s parents enlist for help in communicating with their son. Well-intentioned though socially awkward, particularly with regard to the conversation he is asked to have with Trevor. Bari-Tenor: Second A below middle C to G above middle C (ENSEMBLE)
BOYS ENSEMBLE (4) – 12-14 yrs. old - Other boys in TREVOR’s school. Will cover teen principals
GIRLS ENSEMBLE (2) – 12-14 yrs. old - Other girls in TREVOR’s school. Will cover teen principals
ADULT MALE SWING (late 20s-30s) – OFF-STAGE – COVERS ROLE OF JACK & DAD/FATHER JOE. Top note A above middle C.
ADULT FEMALE SWING (late 20s-30s) – OFF-STAGE – AFRICAN AMERICAN – COVERS DIANA ROSS & MOM/MRS. KERR. Wide vocal range covering
low Diana material to soprano ensemble singing
