Equity actors for roles in THE THIN PLACE and LIZZIE (See

).PREPARATION
For THE THIN PLACE: Please prepare the Sides for the role you are interested in. A link to the Sides will be in your email confirming your audition appointment. Hardcopies of the Sides will also be available at the audition site on the day of the audition.
For LIZZIE: Please prepare a short cut (approximately one-minute) of a rock/punk song in the style of the show that showcases strong acting, vocals, and storytelling. Song selections do not have to be from a musical. We are looking for strong actors who move well and can tell a story through song. An accompanist will be provided at the audition. We encourage auditioners to listen to Lizzie.

THE THIN PLACE
SEEKING:
- HILDA: A quiet woman in her late 30s who works answering store phones.
- LINDA (PRECAST): The eccentric and worldly British medium in her 60s.
- SYLVIA: A wealthy, sharp-edged, and upper-class woman in her 40s.
- JERRY: A detached, intellectual man in his 50s, working as a political consultant.
LIZZIE
SEEKING:
- Lizzie (PRECAST): Rock mezzo with a strong high belt and head voice; the younger daughter of the Borden household, accused of her father and stepmother's axe murders; damaged and twisted, can turn on a dime from fragile, broken, meek and obedient to conniving, sinister, furious, and terrifying. Gender: Female presenting | Age: 18+
- Alice: Pop/rock soprano with a strong mix; Lizzie's next-door neighbor who visits frequently; seductive and secretive, with an almost maternal tenderness in her affections for Lizzie. Gender: Female presenting | Age: 18 to 30
- Emma: Rock alto/mezzo belt; Lizzie's older sister; resentful of her father's marriage to his second wife and his financial support of her family; protective, outspoken, and commanding; furious, but also desperately sad. Gender: Female presenting | Age: 18 to 35
- Bridget: Rock mezzo; the Borden family maid of several years and occasional show narrator; Irish; speaks and sings in dialect; clever with a dry and dark sense of humor; a rock and roll nihilist; not much gets past her. Gender: Female presenting | Age: 18+
