Contract Guest Artist $510/wk
Seeking All roles except for Max, Leo & Roger. 1 Equity contract remains, to be used for one of the following roles: Ulla, or Carmen Ghia.
Preparation Bring sheet music in proper key, accompanist provided. Musical theatre only, no pop. No recorded music, or a capella please. For dance calls, bring tap and character shoes. Females should come in for dance calls in tan tights, leotard, and heels. No jazz pants (it’s about seeing legs and bodies).

MAX BIALYSTOCK: CAST LEO BLOOM: CAST ROGER DE BRIS: CAST ULLA: (Female; Age May be 20s-30s) Tall (at least 5'7) Gorgeous, sexy, long-legged, voluptuous Swedish secretarial assistant to Bialystock and Bloom. Character sex-kitten type; The quintessential knock-out; MUST HAVE COMIC ABILITY; Ability to dance/move well; Must be able to fake a Swedish accent. Vocally, belt voice to E flat, head mix to G. CARMEN GHIA: (Male; Age May be late 20s - early 40s) The wildly flamboyant gay assistant to Roger DeBris; COMIC; Stereotypically mincing musical theater queen; Able to come across stereotypically gay without being offensive; Really good with physical comedy; Bold; Vocally, high baritone/tenor (up to G, with strong high falsetto) FRANZ LIEBKIND: (Male; Age May be 30s-50s) Very Germanic Looking; The wild-eyed author of Bialystock's producing venture 'Springtime for Hitler'; Deranged; He actually believes that Hitler was a hero & that he himself served under Hitler as a soldier of the Third Reich. Must move well. Vocally, baritone (up to G) Also seeking a strong, comic ensemble made up of 'chameleons' with acting abilities to play a variety of roles throughout, accents a plus, should move and sing very well. Roles will comprise of Little Old Ladies, Usherettes, Accountants, Showgirls, Roger's 'Artistic' Team, Storm troopers, Tenor soloist, cops, convicts, judges, etc… Showgirls should ideally be 5'6 or taller, and feel comfortable in revealing costumes. Dancers should be strong tappers.
