The Mute / Matt Understudy:
The Mute is not a mime. Actor should look – and be able to play – around 20. Must move very well and have excellent concentration. Actor also understudies the role of Matt (The Boy), so he must also be a strong actor and singer with the same vocal requirements: lyric baritone, low A to G above middle C.
