Caucasian male, 35 – 50, Leading man. Working class farmer. Decent, hard-working. Rye sense of humor.
Elizabeth Proctor:
Caucasian Female, 35 – 50. Unhappily married to her husband. Deeply moral. Emotionally injured yet possesses great strength
Judge Danforth:
Caucasian Male 45 – 70. The most powerful judge in the land. Highly intelligent and articulate. Religious and principled.
Abigail Williams:
Caucasian Female 18 – 25. Very attractive and equally smart, manipulative, powerful and controlling.
Mary Warren:
Caucasian Female 18 – 25. Timid, insecure girl (possibility unattractive). A wannabe who gains personal confidence through joining Abigail’s movement
Thomas Putnam:
Caucasian Male 40 – 60. Wealthy and powerful businessman with a mean streak. Controlling.
Ann Putnam:
Caucasian Female late 30s – early 50s. Extremely emotional wife of Thomas Putnam. Hysterical at the sickness of her child.
Giles Corey:
Caucasian Male65+. Strong charismatic farmer. Much beloved by his community. Has great humor which matches his tremendous strength and integrity.
Reverend Samuel Parris:
Caucasian Male late 30s – 50. Small-minded, insecure, paranoid reactive local preacher. Afraid of losing his job and will do anything to save it. Nervous and wimpy with some humor.
Frances Nurse:
Caucasian Male 65+. Very old and vulnerable farmer. Timid but honorable man of the community.
Rebecca Nurse:
Caucasian Female 65 +. Farmer’s wife and pillar of the community. Simple and very wise. Possesses a good sense of humor

Ezekiel Cheever:
Caucasian Male 35 – 55. Factotum clerk to the court. A loafer with very little power, but loves every bit of his power. A small man and a little bit dangerous.
Tituba:
Caribbean Female 30 – 40. Caribbean-born servant to Reverend Parris. Afraid of losing her job.
Judge Hathorne:
Caucasian Male 40s – 60. A severe judge who inspires fear.
George Herrick / John Willard:
Any age. Caucasian male. Court guard responsible for bringing defendants before the judge.
