BREAKDOWN
All roles are available (i.e. not yet offered and accepted).
3 Equity contracts available: each actor plays multiple roles.
Actors must be totally comfortable with audience interaction. There is no fourth wall in this play. Each actor must be an experienced and proficient improvisor. Although the piece is fully scripted, much of the fun is improvised, and will vary from night to night. Each actor must be confident and accomplished in the delivery of Shakespearean dialogue. It’s a high energy wacky piece. The need to be able to keep up a frenetic pace for 90 minutes is essential.

Actor 1: Male or Female Often the straight character; more down-to-earth than his counterparts.
Plays Romeo, Caesar, Richard II, King Lear, Richard III, Horatio, Polonius, Laertes, Sampson, Prince, Nurse, Friar Laurence, Witch.

Actor 2: Male or Female: The “Professor” type; takes it all a bit too seriously
Plays Narrator, Hamlet, Titus, Macbeth, Antony, King John.

Actor 3: Male or Female The fun character; sometimes the dumb character; plays the female roles. Plays Juliet, Lavinia, Ophelia, Cleopatra, Gertrude, Benvolio, Othello, MacDuff, Soothsayer, Henry VI, Bernado, Ghost, Claudius.
