Please prepare a short traditional musical theater song (either a Rodgers and Hart selection or something similar stylistically). Bring sheet music; accompanist provided. In addition, bring the musical instrument you play, and play a short piece that demonstrates your skill level on that instrument.
Please bring a picture & resume, stapled back-to-back.
Seeking:
Note: Seeking an ensemble cast of actor/singer/musicians who play musical instruments. Specifically interested in actors who play any of the following: double bass, flute, clarinet, trumpet, percussion, piano.
Miss Jones Three:
AVAILABLE ROLE. 30s. Sexy and sultry chorus girl.
Miss Jones Four:
AVAILABLE ROLE. 40s. Worldly-wise, somewhat cynical chorus girl.
Miss Jones Five:
AVAILABLE ROLE. 50s–60s. Mature “I’m Still Here” chorus girl.
The following roles are cast. Auditioning performers will be considered as possible replacements, should any become necessary.
Johnny:
CAST. Man, 40s. Cool, sophisticated piano composer. Must play piano well.
Miss Jones One:
CAST. Early 20s. Very young and very idealistic chorus girl.
Miss Jones Two:
CAST. Late 20s. Somewhat sophisticated chorus girl.
