SYNOPSIS: While spying on their wives at a Girls' Night Out, a group of unemployed steelworkers from Buffalo sees how much they enjoy watching male strippers. Jealous, out of work and feeling emasculated, the men come up with a bold and unclothed way to make some quick cash. In preparing, they find themselves extremely exposed; not merely physically but emotionally. As they conquer their fears, self-consciousness and prejudices, the men come to discover that they're stronger as a group, and the strength that they find in each other gives them the individual courage to let it go. Based on the cult hit film of the same name, The Full Monty, a ten-time Tony Award nominee, is filled with honest affection, engaging melodies and the most highly anticipated closing number of any show.

The roles of Dave, Harold, Malcolm, and Ethan have already been cast.

SEEKING:

Jerry - (Male-presenting, 32 years old) An unemployed mill worker, fighting to maintain his pride and the custody of his only son. All-American jock and the definitive man's man. Spontaneous. Very prideful.

Pam - (Female-presenting, Late 20s/Early 30s) Jerry's estranged wife and high school sweetheart. She wants what is best for her son. Strong businesswoman, but also compassionate and motherly.

Horse - (Male-presenting, 50s, Black) A retired mill worker. Embarrassed about being an average sized Black man. Despite being old and slow when walking, he still has explosive dance moves. Frequently grumpy.

Jeannette - (Female-presenting, Late 60s/Early 70s) A piano player of indeterminate years and show-business pro. Sassy, quick-witted, and larger than life. Has slowed down in recent years.

Haunted by the past, the brothers are forced to confront the shattering reality of their future.

Lincoln (Linc) - (Black, male-presenting, 30s/40s) The older brother. He used to be a master Three-Card Monte hustler, but he gave it up after a partner was killed. He is weary, protective, and trying to live an honest, steady life despite being haunted by his past.

SEEKING:

Howard Beale - (Male-presenting, 60s) The UBS television news anchor who after being fired for low ratings, announces on-air that he will kill himself. Louise Schumacher - (Female-presenting, 30s/40s) Max Schumacher's neglected wife, who anchors the emotional reality of the collateral damage caused by the media business.

Edward Ruddy - (Male-presenting, 50s/60s) Chairman of the board of UBS. An older, traditional network news executive whose moral authority is cast aside by the younger, profit-hungry regime.

Harry Hunter - (Male-presenting, 30s/40s) An ambitious Associate Producer at the UBS television network who assists in packaging the unstable news anchor Howard Beale's rants into profitable, ratings-grabbing entertainment.

Nelson Chaney - (Male-presenting, 60s/70s) A high-ranking UBS television executive who represents traditional corporate morality and old-school broadcasting standards before being pushed aside by ruthless, ratings-obsessed modern media.

Arthur Jensen - (Male-presenting, 50s/60s) The omnipotent conglomerate chairman and CEO. Believes the world is a corporation of corporations and rebukes any notion of separate national identities or human values.
