SEEKING

Submissions from AEA actors only.

Seeking a fully ethnic/interracial/diverse cast of triple threats of all ages. Each Choreographer will choreograph the numbers that out their individual specialty…..Swing, jazz, and tap.

This production will run at the Fulton Theatre in Lancaster PA, then travel to the Maine State Music Theatre in Brunswick ME

PREPARATION

Please bring character, jazz, and tap shoes. We hope everyone in this production is an excellent dancer. Please bring a song in style of the show (you are welcome to sing from the show) in case asked to sing. Dancers should be prepared to sing, and singers should be prepared to dance. Please bring pic and resume.

BREAKDOWN

Seeking a fully ethnic/interracial/diverse cast of triple threats of all ages. Each Choreographer will choreograph the numbers that out their individual specialty…..Swing, jazz, and tap. Some of the traditional solo, duets, and group pairings may be rearranged in this production.

Man 1 - (Gregory) - African American Singer Dancer, age 35-50. Should be great tapper and jazz dancer.

Woman 1 & 2 - African American Female Singers that are exciting and extremely versatile singers. Strong movement skills would be a plus.

Man 2 - Any Ethnicity, 28-40. .but needs to be an outstanding dancer singer and well versed in all types of dance of this era.

Woman 3 - Any ethnicity, 28-40, seeking an excellent singer with a beautiful vulnerability. Should have strong soprano and wonderful belt/mix. Possible a Laura Osnes type.

Man 3 - African American. Mid 20's -35. Singer and Dancer. Should be wonderful dancer in all style. Jazz, tap, and swing.

Ensemble Men - Dancers/singgers. 20-50. Seeking a fully ethnic/interracial/diverse cast of triple threats of all ages. Each Choreographer will choreograph the numbers that out their individual specialty…..Swing, jazz, and tap.

Ensemble women - Dancer/Singers. 20-50. Seeking a fully ethnic/interracial/diverse cast of triple threats of all ages. Each Choreographer will choreograph the numbers that out their individual specialty…..Swing, jazz, and tap.
