Equity actors for roles in SNOWED IN.
ArtsWest is committed to identity-conscious casting. At all steps of the process, we seek to create brave, supportive spaces in which actors can thrive and create incredible work. Actors of all ethnicities, genders, and abilities are strongly encouraged to audition. The language below describes the identities of characters. For any character genders listed, we want to see actors of any gender identity who are comfortable and confident portraying the gender identity of the characters described.
KAI: Any gender, any race, 20-45. Promised ArtsWest they'd write the best holiday musical of all time.
SAM: Any gender, any race, 20-45. Kai's ally and right-hand.
QUINN: Any gender, any race, 20-45. A little cynical. A little bit of a dark cloud. But we love them and they love everyone else.
JORDAN: Any gender, any race, 20-45. They bring the party. They accidentally problem solve even though they're the least invested.
PREPARATION
Please prepare a contemporary comedic monologue and a contemporary song 16-bars or up to 1.5 minutes in length. An accompanist will be provided. In-person auditions only.
