CONTRACT

Independent Theatre Contract — $623 weekly minimum. Housing and travel reimbursement for all non-local actors.

OTHER DATES

  • Rehearsals begin: Monday, May 11, 2026
  • Runs: June 24, 2026 – August 16, 2026 (possible two-week extension)
  • Rehearsal schedule: Mondays through Fridays, evenings 5:00 PM–10:00 PM; Saturdays 10:00 AM–6:30 PM
  • Performance schedule: Wednesdays through Saturdays at 7:30 PM; Sundays at 1:00 PM & 6:00 PM
  • Special performance times: July 4 and July 24 at 6:00 PM; added performances July 21 at 7:30 PM and August 1 at 2:00 PM

SEEKING

Equity actors for roles in Salt Lake Acting Company's Summer Show. Roles are open to all genders, races, ethnicities, and body types. A diverse ensemble of actors, singers, and dancers/movers, 18 and older. Actors with disabilities are encouraged to audition.

An Equity Monitor will not be provided. The producer will run all aspects of this audition.

PREPARATION

Please prepare 32 bars of an upbeat musical theater song that displays your range and strong acting choices. Also prepare a 30–60 second comedic monologue. You may check in in the lobby on the day of the audition.

The Equity video submission deadline is 5:00 PM MST on February 4, 2026.

SEEKING

(DETAILS)

Seeking 8–10 actors. The script is still in progress and there is no character breakdown at this time; all actors will be asked to play multiple roles based on a parody of the reality TV universe and Utah current events (examples may include parodies such as House Wives: Salt Lake).
