Still seeking following available role:

Sister Mary Lazarus:

AVAILABLE ROLE. Caucasian woman, 70s-80s. Tough, out of the Depression Era, full of vinegar and humor, with twice the energy of anyone half her age. She's seen them come and go, and nothing fazes this sister. She's quick on the wisecracks, and always ready to roll up her sleeves and dig in. Needs comic chops. Minimal singing.

Seeking possible future replacements for the following roles, which are cast.

Deloris Van Cartier:

CAST. African American, 25-40. A disco diva wannabe with a mega-watt dream of Donna Summer-esque glory. Mouthy, ballsy, brassy and quick on the quip — has no faith in anything or anyone but herself. Needs a powerhouse disco diva voice with a range up to the skies.

Mother Superior:

CAST. 45-65. Old-school Catholic traditionalist with a spine of steel, a will of iron, an acid tongue and a hidden heart. Sturdy older voice — alto or mezzo.

Curtis Shank:

CAST. African American, 25–45. Super-cool, super-confident, super-smooth bad guy with soul. Tough narcissist with flair, sex appeal and charisma. Elegant and dangerous. Needs to be extremely strong-voiced, with big range. Low baritone or high baritenor — strong falsetto a big plus.

Lt. Eddie Souther:

CAST. African American, 25-45. Desk cop. Charming and straightforward, but his gun is locked in a drawer, as it were. Should have a beautiful high baritone or tenor.

Sister Mary Robert:

CAST. 18-25. Young and timid novice, teetering on the decision of whether to take her final vows or leave the convent to rejoin the world that intimidates her so. Her shy personality masks a huge, powerful singing voice. Should have an “unexpectedly” huge belt, along with a legit range up to the rafters.

Sister Mary Patrick:

CAST. 25-45. Upbeat, corny, fun and filled with love and delight in God, food and friendship. Loyal sister and head cheerleader, always ready for an adventure, a life experience or between-meal snack. Heavyset physique. Needs a strong belt and legit voice.

Monsignor:

CAST. 50s-60s. Stately but benevolent, with a “Going My Way” twinkle. Think Joseph Maher from the film. Strong character actor with strong baritone voice needed.

TJ:

CAST. African American man, 20s-40s. Shank's nephew. Undersized, overeager kiss-ass. Very strong tenor, with disco falsetto.

Bones:

CAST. Man, 30-60. Shank's driver. Pasty-white, big slob of a gangster, but exceedingly loyal to The Man. Strong baritone, but needs a very strong workable disco falsetto.

Dinero:

CAST. Latino, 20-35. Shank's bodyguard. Keeps mouthing off in Spanish. Strong tenor, with very strong workable disco falsetto.
