SEEKING:
Equity Female Ensemble Singers:
Female, 20 – 55, all ethnicities. Great singers and strong movers of all types, shapes, and sizes. Should have style and the ability to play various characters—including nuns and blue-collar Philadelphians—and understudy principal roles. Also seeking women to play TINA and MICHELLE (Deloris’ back-up singers; low-rent, but sexy, wannabe Pointer Sisters, whose moves are smooth and their attitude sassy); they need to be strong dancers. There are two additional strong dancers among the Female Ensemble. All need very strong legit and belt voices.
Equity Male Ensemble Singers:
Male, 20 – 55, all ethnicities. Great singers (with disco falsetto, a la Bee Gees, Beach Boys, Four Seasons) and strong movers of all ethnic types, shapes, and sizes. Should have style and the ability to play various small roles—including blue-collar Philadelphians—and understudy principal roles.
