PAULINA SARPONG (Female, Black, early 20’s, plays 18 years old) The most popular girl in school and she knows it. Beautiful, talented, and vindictive yet somehow loveable. The classic mean teen queen of the school. Actors submitted should be comfortable singing.
ERICKA BOAFO (Female, Biracial (Black and Caucasian), early 20’s, plays 18 years old) A transfer student from American; new to the school. Smart, kind, beautiful and instantly popular. Seemingly nice but people do not know much about her. Actors submitted should be strong singers; ideally a Mezzo-Soprano.
AMA (Female, Black, early 20’s, plays 18 years old) The sensible, smart one of the popular group. She’s grounded, highly intelligent and mature for her age. Is not afraid to say it like she means it.
NANA (Female, Black, early 20's plays 16 years old) Sensitive and insecure – she is easily manipulated. The simple pseudo dumb one of PAULINA’s pack. Struggles with her love of food and snacks. Soft in mind and body.
MERCY (Female, Black, early 20’s, plays 16 years old) the witty sidekick to Gifty and will do and say anything to stay a member of the popular group. Seeking an actor with great comedic skills.
GIFTY (Female, Black, early 20’s, plays 16 years old) The 'Frick' to Mercy's 'Frack'; loves being part of the popular group and will do anything to be considered cool. Seeking an actor with great comedic skills.
HEADMISTRESS FRANCIS (Female, Black, Late 30’s- Early 50’s) The Headmistress of Aburi Girls Boarding School; loves the girls but is also constantly exhausted by them. Highly intelligent, patient and thoughtful. A good educator that wants what’s best for her students.
ELOISE AMPONSAH (Female, Black, Late 30’s- Early 50’s) Extremely poised and well-mannered. Former Miss Ghana 1976, now a recruiter for the Miss Ghana Pageant. Traditional and proper. She speaks with a slightly affected British accent and prides herself in always being a lady.
