Equity actors for this one-man show taking place on the night of one of Louis Armstrong’s final performances as he considers his life to that point and the people who influenced him. See breakdown for details.

BREAKDOWN

[LOUIS ARMSTRONG]
Male late 40s-70s, African-American. Actor portrays musician in his 70’s speaking candidly to the audience about his life and legacy. He is aged and tired, but retains his charm and sweetness; also portrays manager JOE GLASER – Jewish, cut throat and blunt man who arranged every aspect of Armstrong’s career, and had ties to mob; and portrays MILES DAVIS who doesn’t approve of Armstrong catering to white audiences.
