Seeking the following only (submit only if you are right for one or more these roles and you are free to work throughout the contract dates):

Note: The Oregon Shakespeare Festival is a repertory company. The earliest contract start date is 1/3/12. The last performance of the season is 11/4/12. EVERY CONTRACT is 2 or 3 roles, as well as understudy assignments. THE MINIMUM CONTRACT is 7 months, the longest is 11months. See role for specific dates.

Troilus in TROILUS AND CRESSIDA:

Middle Eastern man, 20s-30. Ideally, speaks Farsi/Persian. Has a sense of humor, and can be self deprecating. Loves being in love; loves the pain of love, and love always puts him in pain. He wallows in it. Can be sweet and gentle. Strong Shakespeare skills a must. Actor will also play Scroop/Bates in HENRY V, plus two understudies TBD. Contract dates: 2/22—11/4/12.

Mercutio in ROMEO AND JULIET:

Mediterranean-looking or Middle Eastern man, 20s–40. Ideally, speaks Farsi/Persian. Witty, eloquent, full of bravado, military bearing. Actor will also play Aeneas in TROILUS AND CRESSIDA. Strong Shakespeare skills a must. Contract dates: 1/3—11/4/12.
