Serio-comic look at the relationships of a not-so-tight-knit New England family at their summer retreat in Maine. It centers around Norman Thayer during what is probably the last summer of his golden years.
Seeking (all listed roles are available):

Ethel Thayer:
Late 60s. Energetic. Very good at mending relationships. Good-natured, easy-going, light-hearted.
Chelsea Thayer Wayne:
42. Ethel’s daughter. Athletic-looking. Slightly nervous. Slightly overweight. Has an estranged relationship with her father. Divorced.
Norman Thayer Jr.:
79. Ethel’s husband. Curmudgeon; sarcastic sense of humor. Boyish, and yet very much an old man with all sorts of old-age ailments, early senility setting in. Difficult to get close to.
Charlie Martin:
40s. Local mailman. Charming, rustic, simple. Nice guy, big laugher. Hefty. Chelsea’s childhood sweetheart.
Bill Ray:
40s. Dentist. Chelsea’s boyfriend. Attractive. Smart. Lives in California.
