Available Roles: INTERLOCUTOR/JUDGE/GOVERNOR OF ALABAMA: White Male. 50s-60s Serves as a sort of Narrator/Lead Minstrel for the show taking on various parts in the story such as the JUDGE and GOVERNOR OF ALABAMA. MR. BONES/SHERIFF BONES/LAWYER BONES/GUARD BONES/ATTORNEY GENERAL/CLERK: African American Male.30s-40s. Another narrator/minstrel of sorts for the show. Takes on various parts in the story such as SHERIFF, LAWYER, PRISON GUARD, ATTORNEY GENERAL, and CLERK. MR. TAMBO/DEPUTY TAMBO/LAWYER TAMBO/ GUARD TAMBO/ SAMUEL LEIBOWITZ: African American Male. 30s-40s. Another narrator/minstrel of sorts for the show. One of the nine boys wrongly accused and incarcerated for raping two white women. Possibly the strongest of the group. Learns to write while in jail and refuses to lie for his freedom.
