Prepare a brief monologue. Bring picture and resume, stapled together.
NOTE: All performers will be expected to team teach up to 5-6 classes with experienced Teacher/Actors in the Theatre Institute’s school residency program pursuant to guidelines in the Rider.
Minority performers are encouraged to attend.
THE MIRACLE WORKER

19-22. Quiet, bright beyond years. Has an air of sadness mixed with determination.
Aunt Ev:
45-60. Opinionated, snobbish, selfish, uncomfortable with Helen.
Viney:
25-40. African/American, former slave/child of slave now a trusted and beloved housekeeper and cook to Keller family.
James Keller:
18-22. Edgy son of Captain Keller. Argumentative, cynical. Resents attention father gives to new family. Selfish.
