Seeking: NOTE: All actors must sing well.
G-d:
Rich, black, warm “Paul Robeson” voice. Bass-baritone/baritone. Sings four songs.
Moses:
32-34. Strong, yet humble. Bright tenor. Sings three songs.
Aaron:
34-36. High baritone. Sings two songs.
Miriam:
37. Soprano. Sings two songs.
Yocheved:
Moses’ mother. Mezzo. Sings two songs.
Tziporeh:
18. Very pretty. Moses’ wife. Soprano. Sings one ballad.
Pharaoh’s Daughter:
21. Soprano. Sings one song.
Magicians:
Sing one song.
Pharaoh’s Soldiers, Pharaoh:
25-55. Tenors, high baritones, baritones, basses.
Egyptian Women:
25-55. Sopranos, mezzos.
Hebrew Shepherds:
Three dancers. Sing one song.
Hebrew Men:
18-48. Tenors, high baritones, baritones, basses.
Boy:
Age 7-10. Plays Young Aaron and Pharaoh’s son. Performer must be accompanied by to all rehearsals and performances by chaperone.
