3 PM – 5 PM 520 Eighth Avenue, 16th Floor
Sign up begins at 2 PM New York, NY
This call is for AGVA and Equity Members only. An AGVA representative will arrive 1 hour prior to the auditions to begin sign ups. Make sure you bring your Union Card to the auditions.
Prepare a brief comedic song of their choice. An accompanist will be provided. All should bring an updated picture and resume, stapled together.
* Any Equity member hired for this production will be under an AGVA contract and have the opportunity to join AGVA.
2011…Will Bob ever make it off the Roundabout? Can a high speed rail put Florida on the right track? Should Mexico become our 51st state? These questions and more will be debated when a new edition of Laughing Matters returns to the Cabaret. A musical Saturday Night Live for Sarasota; whether you lean left, right, or circular, there will be no clean getaways
Seeking:
Man #1:
African American or Hispanic male, 30s-40s. Seeking a very funny actor who can also sing. Improv and/or sketch comedy experience a plus. Will play a number of real and fictional characters, including President Obama.
Man #2:
Caucasian or Hispanic Male 30s-40s Seeking a very funny actor who can also sing. Improv and/or sketch comedy experience a plus. Will play a number of real and fictional characters.
NOTE - Both men must be funny and able to sing. Sketch comedy and/or improv experience is a huge plus.
