BREAKDOWN

Equity encourages everyone participating in the auditions to wear a two-ply cloth face mask, surgical
mask, singer’s mask or respirator (N95, KN95 or KF94). Single-ply face masks, gaiters and bandanas
are not recommended. Singer’s masks can be found at www.broadwayreliefproject.com/singersmask.
Equity encourages members to prepare for their audition prior to arriving at the audition venue, to the
extent that they can (e.g., get dressed, hair/make-up, etc.) to avoid crowding in bathrooms and
dressing rooms.

SEEKING:

NICK MASSI: MALE, 30-40; strong bass/baritone voice; a quiet dreamer who longs for life after The
Four Seasons.

TOMMY DEVITO: MALE, 30-40; strong tenor/baritone voice ability to play guitar is preferred.

BOB GAUDIO: CAST, Strong Tenor/baritone voice, comfortable with 4-part harmonies. Intelligent,
sensitive and introspective musical prodigy.

FRANKIE VALLI: MALE, 20-35; preferably 5’9 or shorter. Sings in the style of Frankie Valli. Strong
tenor to high A or Bb plus strong falsetto up to treble G; charismatic and charming; Has a gritty side as
well as a polished veneer.

Male 1: NICK DEVITO (Chorus/Ensemble) MALE, 20-35; strong singer to play various roles; strong
tenor/bari-tenor voice must have a bad-boy quality, good dancer. The ability to play guitar is preferred.

Male 2: JOE PESCI MALE, 20-35; must be 5’9 or shorter; young, energetic; Strong singer.

Male 3: BOB CREWE (Supporting) MALE, 30-40; intelligent and flamboyant; genius music producer
and lyricist.

Male 4: Ensemble/Multiple Parts (Supporting) MALE, 45-55; tough, Mafioso type; Strong character
actor and strong singer.

Male 5: Ensemble/Multiple Parts (Chorus/Ensemble) MALE, 20-49; Strong singer to play various roles
(friends, producers, etc.); strong tenor to high C; with a strong falsetto to G above high C; has the
ability to riff in rhythm-and-blues style.

Male 6: Ensemble/Multiple Parts (Chorus/Ensemble) MALE, 20-49; strong singer to play various roles
(friends, producers, etc.), bari-tenor voice down to a strong low G

Female 1: MARY & OTHERS (Chorus/Ensemble) FEMALE, 20-39; Frankie’s wife; tough, Italian,
Jersey girl; she’s got a killer sense of humor; also plays a variety of other roles including member of a
60’s style girl group; strong belt, high straight tone soprano Prefered, very good dancer.

Female 2: LORRAINE & OTHERS (Chorus/Ensemble) FEMALE, 20-35; Frankie’s girlfriend;
educated; not from Jersey; a reach career girl, Also plays a variety of other roles, including member of
a 60’s style girl group and tough-as-nails Jersey girl; strong high belt useful, belt to high F extremely
useful; high, straight tone soprano also useful; a very good dancer.

Female 3: FRANCINE & OTHERS (Chorus/Ensemble) FEMALE, 20-37; Frankie’s daughter; named
for, doted on and deeply loved by Frankie. She’s a Jersey girl vulnerable, lost and acts out to make up
for lack of attention from her dad. Also plays a variety of other roles including a member of a 60’s style
girl group and a tough-as-nails Jersey girl. Strong, high belts are useful. Belt to high F extremely
useful, high straight tone soprano also useful but not required; a very good dancer.
