Mrs. Catherine Givings:
Female, late 20s. A new mother, curious, intelligent, determinedly optimistic, adventurous. On the brink of a major discovery. Excellent actor with strong comedic chops.
Dr. Givings:
Male, late 30s-early 40s. A good man and committed doctor. Serious, earnest, compassionate, very proper. The straight man for most of the play. Excellent actor with strong comedic chops. This role requires full nudity.
