Singers: Please prepare one 60-second uptempo song. Please bring organized sheet music. An accompanist will be provided.
Dancers: Please wear appropriate clothing and footwear (ie. jazz/chara. shoes) for movement.

*Some may be asked to stay and sing after all have danced.


[Male and Female Adult Ensemble will also act as understudies for:
Young Max (Tenor), Papa Who (Tenor), Grandma Who (Alto), Grandpa Who (Baritone)

[ENSEMBLE & YOUNG MAX U/S]
Young Max u/s: Male, 20s, any ethnicity. The Grinch's dog, a young pup at heart. Endlessly energetic/acrobatic. Extremely loyal, shows great patience and humor in the face of adversity. Needs a strong Tenor singing voice.

[ENSEMBLE & PAPA WHO U/S]
Papa Who u/s: Male, 30s – early 40s, any ethnicity. The father of the family, the calm eye of the family storm. Goodness and benevolence pour out of him. A moral example for the rest of Whoville. Needs a strong high baritone or baritenor singing voice.

[ENSEMBLE & GRANDMA WHO U/S]
Grandma Who u/s: Female, mid 40s – 50s, any ethnicity. Loving, has the ear of the children and the patience to calm them. Needs a strong character mezzo singing voice.

[ENSEMBLE & GRANDPA WHO U/S]
Grandpa Who u/s: Male, mid 40s – 50s, any ethnicity. The eldest of the family, comically hard of hearing. Not unlike Grandpa Simpson. Needs a strong character baritone singing voice.


NON-EQUITY ACTORS WILL BE SEEN IF TIME PERMITS, BUT MUST BE WILLING TO JOIN ACTORS' EQUITY IF HIRED
