SEEKING:

Alan Raleigh:

(35-45) – a corporate lawyer, very engaged with his high-stress job, to the point of distraction. The schoolyard spat between his son and the Novak’s son is trivial to him, and he doesn’t think the parents should be a part of the reconciliation.

Annette Raleigh:

(35-45) – self-identifies as working in “wealth-management,” it is important to her that she takes responsibility for her sons actions and doesn’t look like a negligent mother in front of the Novak’s. She is stressed and high-strung at the start of the play, but reveals a dark side as things unravel.

Michael Novak:

(35-45) – a wholesaler, who is low-key, warm and welcoming. He is a peacekeeper and aims for fast resolution.

Veronica Novak:

(35-45) – is a writer and anthropologist, who has spent time studying and researching in Africa and the Middle East. She is uptight, resolute and firm, yet attempts to have a calm, easygoing demeanor. She too, reveals a dark quality in her personality.
