NOTE: A new musical in which Harold, a hapless sandwich maker, is torn between his wife, an aspiring actress, and her sister, a waitress who loves her job, as their fates are revealed during the New York blackout of 1965.
SEEKING:
Daphne:
20s. An aspiring actress. Strong and ambitious, very funny and possessing a real humanity. Strong pop/theatre high belt with a good mix and solid soprano.
Joey Storms:
Late 20s-mid 30s. Handsome, charismatic and very ambitious. A wealthy, “soon-to-be-world-famous” producer/playwright who is agonizing over creating the next big commercial musical theatre success. High baritone/tenor.
Mr. Mc Clam:
Late 50s. Harold's romantic and loveable father. A heart-broken, recent widower. A gentle ex-marine. Beautiful legit baritone.
Crabble:
Mid 50s-early 60s. A sandwich shop owner. Harold’s hard-edged, cranky boss with an unexpected soft spot. A former Air Force pilot. Great comic timing. Baritone.
