MARK ENVELOPES: (Fly By Night) / AEA self submission

NOTE: A new musical in which Harold, a hapless sandwich maker, is torn between his wife, an aspiring actress, and her sister, a waitress who loves her job, as their fates are revealed during the New York blackout of 1965.

SEEKING:

Daphne:

20s. An aspiring actress. Strong and ambitious, very funny and possessing a real humanity. Strong pop/theatre high belt with a good mix and solid soprano.

Joey Storms:

Late 20s-mid 30s. Handsome, charismatic and very ambitious. A wealthy, “soon-to-be-world-famous” producer/playwright who is agonizing over creating the next big commercial musical theatre success. High baritone/tenor.

Mr. Mc Clam:

Late 50s. Harold's romantic and loveable father. A heart-broken, recent widower. A gentle ex-marine. Beautiful legit baritone.

Crabble:

Mid 50s-early 60s. A sandwich shop owner. Harold’s hard-edged, cranky boss with an unexpected soft spot. A former Air Force pilot. Great comic timing. Baritone.
