For the audition, prepare two contrasting monologues and reading from script. Sides available on request. Bring picture and resume, stapled together.

Audition is for a replacement actor. Short, intense rehearsal period.

Flipside tells the story of a friendship between a teen named Bo and an undercover narcotics agent named Nick. The show weaves original music and spoken-word poetry throughout the play’s narrative on drug use and trafficking.

Bo:

17 years old. African-American, inner city drug dealer with a family to care for. Very smart. Very cocky. A risk taker as well as a care taker.
