BIG
1st rehearsal September 25; runs October 19-November 11
The 1987 hit movie bursts onstage in this vibrant, funny and touching musical. When frustrated adolescent Josh baskin wishes he were "big" and wakes up the next morning a 30yr old man, he discovers there's much more to being an adult than he's bargained for and learns we must all grow up at our own pace, in our own time.

RUDOLPH
1st rehearsal October 30; runs November 23-December 24 (possible extension to December 30.
Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer recounts the tale of a shy young reindeer whose Christmas spirit is dampened because his shiny red nose has made him the lauging stock of all Christmastown. Rudolph and his friend Hermey the Elf who wants to be a dentist set out on their own. They then find themselves pursued by the Abominable Snowmonster. They flee to the island of Misfit Toys where Yukon Cornelius comes to their rescue. Returning to Christmastown they learn that bad weather might cause Christmas to be cancelled, but Rudolph's headlight-nose saves Christmas.

The play deftly weaves the story of a young girl who has lost her brother during the Civil Rights actions in Milwaukee in the late 60s with that of the story of Golda Meir – building toward the moment that the two characters meet when Golda returns to 4th Street School to give a speech.

PINKALICIOUS

Pinkalicious can't stop eating pink cupcakes despite warnings from her parents. Her pink indulgence lands her at the doctor's office with Pinkititis, an affliction that turns her pink from head to toe - a dream come true for this pink loving enthusiast. But when her hue goes too far, only Pinkalicious can figure out a way to get out of this predicament.

JACKIE AND ME
1st rehearsal March 12; runs April 12-May 12
Young Joey Stoshack has the special power to travel through time just by holding a baseball card and concentrating really hard. When he’s given an assignment to write a paper on Jackie Robinson, it only makes sense to head back to 1947 and meet the famous baseball player. Through his adventures, Joey experiences what it’s like to be African-American during a time of segregation. He witnesses Jackie’s dedication and determination when even people on his own team are against him.

The bilingual script will be part of our First Steps series of plays for 3-6 year olds and their families and was developed with playwright Alvaro Saar Rios adpated from the books by Lois Ehlert titled, Moon Rope, Cuckoo, and Mole Hill.
