Equity actor/singers for various roles. Men who play piano or guitar are encouraged to audition.
All SM positions have been filled.
PREPARATION
Please prepare a short contemporary musical theatre song. Singer-songwriter material is also acceptable. A pianist will be provided. Interested in all ethnicities for all roles.

SEEKING:
HARRY (Man, early to mid-30s, any ethnicity) An atypical leading man with an old fashioned ?air and an alcohol problem. Incredibly charming and playful; both self-deprecating and arrogant. Half young Robert Downey Jr., half young Woody Allen. Immediately likeable. His easy-going charm hides a dark and vulnerable side. Can turn on a dime. A piano player, who often accompanies himself. A strong actor with a distinctive contemporary singer-songwriter type voice. High baritone. Any ethnicity. Must have at least basic piano skills.
LOUISE (Woman, mid-20s to 30, any ethnicity) Super likable, quick-witted, vulnerable and deeply empathetic. An unexpected, offbeat leading lady; a contemporary young Diane Keaton. Requires a unique dramatic and comedic actress, vocally able to handle various styles – from folky to musical theatre. Soprano. Any ethnicity. ROLE HAS BEEN CAST.
PAUL (Man, early-mid 30s, any ethnicity) Harry’s gay brother. Tender, particular, and dryly funny. Loyal and protective. He buries his anger, but grows in strength and conviction throughout the show. A strong actor with a singer-songwriter type voice. Baritone. Any ethnicity. Guitar skills a plus.
MAN (Man, 30s-40s, any ethnicity) Plays various roles, both comedic and sincere, including a dry New York agent and a Brazilian millionaire. A transformational actor and good mover. Baritone. Any ethnicity.
WOMAN (Woman, late 20s-40, any ethnicity) Plays various roles, including a maternal waitress, a bitter ex-lover of Harry’s, and an earthy jazz singer. A transformational actress and good mover. Vocally featured. Mezzo. Any ethnicity
