The cast will consist of 6 actors (all African-American) with the following break-down: Guitar Man: Blues Guitarist and Singer, Adult male actor, any age. Blues Speak Woman: Singer Actress, Adult Female any age. Ensemble Actress: Delia, Girl, Missie May , Female late 20s–mid 30s. 3 Ensemble Actors: Adult Males, early 20s-40, to play a variety of roles.

Track #1, Invisible Man: African American Male (30s-40s) Lead. Charming and charismatic. Track #2: African-American Male to play late 40s–60s. Educated, well-spoken, commanding, and passionate. Track #3: African-American Male to play late 30s–early 40s. Weathered, larger than life, a commanding presence. Track #4: African-American Male to play late 40s–60s. Slightly used, streetwise with experience, full of life. Must be convincing with mid-20th century urban dialect. Track #5: African-American Male to play late 20s–30s. Handsome, athletic, and charismatic. Track #6: Caucasian Male to play late 40s–60s. Privileged, wealthy, accomplished. Track #7: Caucasian Male to play 30s–40s. Attractive, passionate, leadership quality, with sometimes manic overtones. Track #8: African-American Female to play 30s–60s. Attractive and motherly, good singing voice. Track #9: African-American Female to play 30s–60s. Attractive, youthful, yet slightly used. (may require partial nudity) Track #10 Caucasian Female 30’s. Attractive and intelligent. Available roles; All late 20s-late 30s Joseph Porter Pitt: Chief clerk for Justice Theodore Wilson of the Federal Court of Appeals, Second Circuit. Harper Amaty Pitt: Joe’s wife, an agoraphobic with a mild valium addiction. Louis Ironson: A word processor working for the Second Circuit Court of Appeals. Prior Walter: Louis’ boyfriend. Belize: A former drag queen and former lover of Prior’s. A registered nurse. Belize’s name was originally Norman Arriaga; Belize is a drag name that stuck.
