Equity Stage Manager:

The responsibilities of the AEA Stage Manager are to organize and run the production office and hire all Stage Management Staff; facilitates a smooth, productive rehearsal process and maintains a consistent smoothly run show during performances. The Stage Manager oversees all productions. The Stage Manager is responsible for the calling of all rehearsals, whether before or after opening; shall assemble and maintain the Prompt Book; will maintain the artistic intentions of the Director and the Producing Artistic Director. The AEA Stage Manager reports to the Director of Production and ultimately to the Producing Artistic Director.

Historic Barter Theatre offers a wide variety of productions including world premieres, developing new works, musicals, and classics in two newly renovated theatre spaces. We value a collaborative work environment.
