Equity Members without appointments will be seen throughout the audition day, as time permits.

Audition appointments are five minutes long. Actors may choose to present one or more scenes from the season and/or choose to present one or more prepared monologues and/or readings from other sources. Scripts of the season's plays are available beginning on Monday, August 16, 2010, at Boston Playwrights' Theatre, 949 Commonwealth Avenue, Boston (scripts in the lobby—please do not remove) and at the StageSource office, 88 Tremont St, Suite 714, Boston. For those reading from script at the audition, a reader will be provided.

TWO WIVES IN INDIA by Leslie Harrell Dillen

Directed by Bevin O’Gara

1st rehearsal: 10/5/10. Runs: 10/28 – 11/21/10

“A journey to India, theatrical, funny and moving.”

Roles Available:

Rebecca “Becca”:

Fifty-something Interior designer living in LA. Mother of Emily, ex-wife of Sam.

Piri:

A man. 40s-50s. Accents: Indian, American. Plays multiple roles.

Dylan Thomas’ A CHILD'S CHRISTMAS IN WALES, adapted by Burgess Clark

Directed by Burgess Clark

(in collaboration with Boston Children's Theatre)

1st rehearsal: 11/16/10. Runs: 12/1 – 12/30/10

Roles Available:

Young Dylan:

8 years old.

D.J. Thomas (Father)/Fireman:

40-50s, quiet but disgruntled.

Nancy Thomas (Sis):

12 years old.

Jack Briggs:

10 years old.

Auntie Bessie:

40-50s, sweet, sings badly.
