SYNOPSIS:

Named TIME Magazine’s “Best Musical of the Decade,” Billy Elliot The Musical, is a spectacular show with heart, humor, and passion. Based on the international smash-hit film, and featuring a score by Elton John, Billy Elliot is an astonishing theatrical experience. Set in a northern English mining town during the 1984 miners’ strike, Billy Elliot is the inspirational story of a young boy’s struggle against the odds to make his dream come true. • Dad: (35-45 years old) Billy’s stoic father. A widowed miner struggling with maintaining a household in lieu of a work strike, he is still deeply scarred by the death of his wife. Billy’s dancing initially sends him into a rage but he learns to support his son. Vocal Range: Eb4-A2
