Seeking Male and Female Actors and Actor/Singers for TWELFTH NIGHT; RICHARD III; and BIG RIVER. All actors will be expected to appear in two of three summer rep shows, either two Shakespeares or one Shakespeare and one musical, so comfort in both arenas is nice.

Preparation Please prepare 2 contrasting Shakespeare monologue, plus 16 bars of a song to be considered for the musical. Bring sheet music in your key; an accompanist will be provided. Bring headshot and resume.

Twelfth Night
Olivia, Female, 20s to 30s. An extremely beautiful and put together Duchess who begins to come unglued.
Orsino, Male, 20s to 30s. A handsome melancholy Duke who is sick in love.
Sir Toby, Male, 30s to 60s. Olivia's overly fun-loving, frequently drunk Uncle.
Malvolio. Male, 30s to 60s. Olivia's steward. A tightly-wound servant with visions of grandeur.
Richard III
Richard, Male, 30s-40s. The deformed evil genius who plots and murders his way to being King of England.
Buckingham, Male, 30s-40s. One of Richard's followers.
Queen Margaret, Female, 30s-50s. The widow of King Henry VI--not a fan of Richard

Big River
Huck Finn, Male, White, late teens-early 20s. Baritone. Mischevious southern boy who refuses to be reformed.
Jim, Male, Male, African-American, late 20s-40s. Baritone. Runaway slave who escapes on the Mississppii River with Huck.
Pap Finn, Male, White, 30s-50s. Baritone. Huck's deadbeat Dad.
Mary Jane Wilkes, White, Female, 20s-30s. Mezzo. Kindly woman who becomes Huck's first love.
