Please prepare 16-32 bars of a folk/rock/pop song and bring sheet music for our piano accompanist. Actors may be asked to come back to dance so please bring flat soles sneakers and loose fit clothing.

Mrs. Barry: Diana’s mother, a haughty, pious woman who detests Anne for her
orphan upbringing and “over-attachment” to Diana. Miss Stacy: Anne's teacher.
An independent, smart, driven, single woman, who sees something special in
Anne. Excellent actor/singer/strong mover.
RUBY GILLIS / ENSEMBLE (Female, 18+ to play 12)
Plain-talking classmate of Anne’s. Uncouth, melodramatic, smart-ass. Excellent actor/singer/dancer.
PRISSY ANDREWS / ENSEMBLE (Female, 18+ to play 12)
Boy-crazy classmate of Anne’s, slightly mousy, romantic and sweet. Excellent actor/singer/dancer.
JOSIE PYE / ENSEMBLE (Female, 18+ to play 12)
Josie: Pretty, mean, competitive classmate of Anne’s. Also works as a store clerk. Excellent actor/singer/dancer.

Mr. Philips: Anne’s stern and didactic teacher. Mr. Blythe: Gilbert Blythe’s exacting father and the former beau of Marilla. Excellent actor/singer/strong mover.

Jude: Classmate of Anne's, and Prissy Andrew's brother. A boy's boy, not very bright. Mr. Edwards: a kindly, if slightly officious real estate agent. Excellent actor/singer/dancer.

Diana Barry’s intended. Handsome, upright guy. Excellent actor/singer/dancer.
